The Gîte
The gîte has been created in a charmingly renovated historic stone barn. It offers space for 12 guests in three rooms. Each room can accommodate four guests and has a private bathroom with shower. There is a spacious, bright and open living space including two fully equipped kitchen areas. The cosy lounge area with a fire place is the perfect spot to gather in the evenings, chat and plan your next adventures.
The surroundings
Located in the middle of the Pyrenees, the Vallée d’Oueil opens above the spa town of Bagnères-de-Luchon. The village of Cirès is huddled against the southern slope of the upper part of the protected valley d’Oueil at an altitude of 1,352 m and presents the second last settlement on the ascent to the Col du Port de Balè.
Activities
The gîte is a starting point for activities all year round. In summer Cirès is an ideal place for road- and mountain biking as well as hikes. In winter you can start right on the slopes in front of the house into your snowshoeing or free-ride skiing/ snowboarding adventure. A small family ski-resort is just 3 mins away in Bourg D’Oueil and the resorts in Superbagnères and Peyragudes can be reached within a short car ride.
